OwnParks – Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Purpose

This policy explains the terms and conditions under which users can cancel their parking bookings and claim refunds for services booked through the OwnParks platform.


2. Booking Cancellations

  • Users can cancel their parking reservation via the OwnParks mobile app or website.
  • Cancellations are subject to the following time frames:
    • Free Cancellation Window: Up to 8 hour before the scheduled booking start time – full refund.
    • Late Cancellation: Within 1 hour of the booking start time – cancellation charges may apply (up to 50% of booking value).
    • No-show: If the user does not show up for the booked time without cancellation, no refund will be issued.

3. Refund Eligibility

  • Refunds will only be processed for valid cancellations as per the above terms.
  • Service fees, convenience charges, or taxes (if any) are non-refundable unless the cancellation was due to a service failure by OwnParks.

4. Refund Process

  • Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
  • Processing time: 7–10 business days, depending on the user’s payment provider.

5. Service Failure or Non-Availability

If a booked parking space is unavailable or inaccessible due to operational reasons (e.g., technical issue, maintenance, force majeure), OwnParks will:

  • Offer an alternative parking space (if available), or
  • Issue a full refund to the user without any deductions.

6. Force Majeure

In cases where cancellation is caused by events beyond OwnParks’ control (natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, etc.), OwnParks reserves the right to modify or waive cancellation charges on a case-by-case basis.


7. Non-Refundable Bookings

Certain promotional or discounted bookings may be marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase. These terms will override the standard cancellation policy.


8. Dispute Resolution

For any disputes related to cancellations or refunds, users can contact OwnParks customer support at support@ownparks.com. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which OwnParks operates.
